Fixed Physio was established in 2016 and provides an experienced physiotherapist team across three Central City Christchurch sites.
Our ethos is to provide every patient with a personal, tailored and professional physio service. We love working with people and we want to see you getting back to your regular life and achieving your goals as quickly as possible.
With long appointments standard, we ensure a full assessment and treatment of every patient, every time.
Full access to gym facilities at each of our three locations; means we can provide both gym-based rehabilitation and hands on therapy.
Our relationships with podiatrists, sports doctors and surgeons ensures that if we can’t get you right, we’ll send you to someone that can.

Clinical Director & Senior Physiotherapist
Simon is the co-owner, senior physiotherapist and clinical director at Fixed. Simon graduated from Otago University in 2009 and has also completed his post graduate certificate in sports physiotherapy. Simon has worked in New Zealand, Melbourne and the U.K. With training in dry needling, spinal rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation and more, Simon is able to provide the very best treatment for his patients.

Director & Senior Physiotherapist
Graduating from Otago in 2008, James travelled for almost two years before settling in Wellington. Working in a busy central city clinic with a focus on sports physio and athlete management. Working with the Wellington Firebirds cricket team, Wellington Women's and Men's hockey teams as well as Poneke Rugby Club, he was able to develop an advanced knowledge of sporting rehab. Moving to Christchurch he continued in this vein; working with Burnside Rugby Club and the Canterbury 7's team for 4 years.

In 2016 James started Fixed with a focus on patient centered care.

In his spare time he enjoys surfing, golf, running and spending time with his young twins.

Physiotherapist
Darryn is the what we like to call a physio on steriods.
Darryn went back to do physio after a successful career as a strength and conditioning coach. Working with the Crusaders Academy and Brazilian Rugby.
His experience around the gym will be unbeatable when it comes to getting you back on the field, court, road or mountain!
Darryn prides himself on on holistic care; treating the person, not just the injury.

Physiotherapist
Louise graduated in 2009 from the University of Otago. She moved to Christchurch in 2013, after working in Dunedin and spending time in both Europe and the United Kingdom. Louise has worked in private practice since moving to Christchurch and is passionate about fitness and wellbeing. She has worked with many sports over the years, most recently the National League netball, New Zealand Fistball and currently the Canterbury Magicians cricket team. Outside of the clinic, Louise has played netball at the elite level having played five years in the ANZ Championships, the last four for the Mainland Tactix. She recently turned her hand to a new sport, Fistball playing for the New Zealand Women’s team. Louise is passionate about injury prevention, building resilient athletes and enhancing performance to get people back to their best.
